Wooded areas, brushlands and cultivated regions.
Description
A shy anc cautious animal. Foxes eat whatever they can find including some vegetation, insects and small animals. Raise families in holes. In addition to the parents raising babies (kits), female "helpers" will help raise kits. These helpers are females that don't have families of their own to raise.
Range
Most of the US and Canada except for the far north.
