Before you can play you will have to sign up. Signing up requires a valid email address only, no other personal
information is collected. After you have signed up, you are ready to start playing.
Here is how to sign up and start playing:
Start from the Web Earth Online home page www.webearthonline.com
Select "Play Now".
Select "I'm a New User, Sign Me Up".
Fill out the form, and "submit" it.
If you have been successful, you will be welcomed for signing up and given several options. You are encouraged
to read through the online playing instructions before you starting to play, and you are encouraged to download
the recommended downloads (recommended downloads are not required for playing, but they do enhance the playing
experience). If you click on "Click Here to Select a World and Play" then you will be shown a list of
worlds to pick from and you can start playing.
After clicking on "Click Here to Select a World and Play" , worlds available will be shown to you.
The ones for which you qualify for will be shown as active links that you can click on. Now select on one of the
active worlds by clicking on it. You will then be given the option of picking an animal from the screen called,
"Select an Animal to Play".
The animals that you qualify for will be shown as active links. Select the animal which you wish to play by
clicking on it. When you click on an animal which you qualify for and you will be connected to the game where you
will become the animal you have selected.
The first time you connect to the game you will experience the longest load time. After that, information will
be automatically stored in your browser and loads should be considerably faster. Current estimates show that a
56 kb modem will take 2-4 minutes to load the first time connected. After that load time should drop to 30-60 secs.
It is recommended that you read the Playing Instructions (Basic) before reading
the detailed instructions.
